Purple Belt Curriculum

Purple Belt represents the Evening Sky– As you approach the mountain (representing challenge) you stop to ponder your achievements so far on your journey. The evening sky reminds you that you have come so far and that should be celebrated as you move forward toward and beyond your Black Belt

Purple Belts receive 5 stripes:

Green- Demonstrating their Advanced Techniques

Blue- For knowing the cycle form (See video to the right)

Red- For knowing the Purple Belt one-step, Escape Skills 1-8, their Contact Skill, Breaking their Testing Break on the 1st Try, and (for Fusion/Impact) their Defense Skills. (Videos Below)

Black- Demonstrating their sparring skills by showing Combinations, Advanced Techniques, Block & countering, Self-control, and Guard Position.​

Yellow- Completing the Fitness Test

Purple Belt Warriors Form (Ages 10 and under)

Purple Belt Fusion/Impact Form (Ages 11 and up)

Purple Belt Escape Skills

Purple Belt & Sr. Purple Contact Skills

Purple Belt Defense Skills
